In reply to Jason Sweat. Yeah - I thought we caught the Kiki thing in the episode. Spawnsire was just a mis-remembering. Anyway Containment Priest is still pretty awesome in a lot of scenarios.

Hello, Great job on the potcast as usual 🙂 Two issues I noticed during this episode, as Andrew already pointed out, Kikik can’t copy Legendary creatures since his ability reads “non-Legendary”. The other issue is when you were discussing Containment Priest, you mentioned your friend using Spawnsire of Ulamog’s second ability which reads “20: cast any number of Eldrazi Cards you own from outside the game without paying their mana costs.” Containment Priest reads “wasn’t cast” where Spawnsire’s ability allows you to cast with an alternate casting cost of 0, so the Eldrazi really would come into play in this case.

Everyone seems to forget that Kiki-Jiki says ‘copy a non legendary’….can’t copy Tuk-Tuk in the first place.

Funny you mentioned Whitemane Lion and Mentor of the Meek, since they make a good card drawing combo. Maybe not good enough to warrant a slot for a Lion, but maybe that’s why he’s there. Flickerwisp can also permanently exile an opponent’s creature if you combine it with Containment Priest. D:

And why isn’t Armistice in the list of horrible cards?
