Honestly, we had done a ton of deck techs for a while and were getting a bit tired of them but, we may have overcorrected in the other direction. Thanks for the heads-up, we will get back to doing them more often.

I think it is just a hit or miss now. I completly ignored your Trading Up cast since I just do not trade. I buy cards which I need and sell those I do not need.

If the cast would have been coupled with Tim I think I would have looked the whole show – But in the end, I think you guys will have more views in total which should help the show and that, I do appreciate.

BUT I’d like to have more deck-techs in general. They just give a great insight in various deck ideas which lead to great inspirations to all of us – And they do not need to be a hour long – honestly, more often then not they aren’t cause of your upkeep& Drawstep and your Endstep 😉

Great stuff. And I agree subtlety is super important, but some PoliTricks require the opposite to be effective. Just like anything else, you need to vary your delivery to avoid becoming predictable.

That said, my own little trick is to just get a drink. Just tell the table to carry on without you for a few seconds. Like any politrick, success is inconstant and fragile, but time it right and you just disappear for long enough to be overlooked as a potential target.

Bonus points for bringing another drink for an ‘ally’ you’re buttering up.
