I think a combination of Delve + Scavenging ooze are going to do allot of work at making a Tarmogoyf less good in the format, and possibly not good. There are definitely ways to build green decks skipping the Goyf.

I agree. It’s time. None of the decks I play care about a Goyf but the card is a mistake.
